Springtime means Sump Pump Time

There are many ways that your home can fail you this spring when it comes to water damage. 

One of those is: sump pump failure. 

When your home is prone to flooding from time to time you are at risk and should get a sump pump installed. Most of the time these are highly efficient ways to stop water from accumulating before it can cause a lot of damage. 

In order to make sure your sump pump has not failed make sure you have it installed correctly, that it is plugged in, and powered. When checking the sump pump this spring make sure there are no stray debris to stop it from working properly. 

On another note, homeowners who have a washer in the basement should install a sump pump for any accidents or mechanical failures that may occur with the washing machine.
