Mold Grows Everywhere, but Especially in this Room

We know that mold can grow almost anywhere and everywhere. There is one particular room in your home (and everyone's home) that is more likely to grow mold: the bathroom.
The bathroom grows mold quickly because of the heavy amounts of moisture not only in the air, but only floor, on items, and in your sink, shower, and toilet. Let's break down some tasks you can do to prevent the mold breakout from happening in your bathroom:
- Spread towels out after use so that they dry quickly
- Minimize containers left in the shower
- Wipe down the shower with a clean towel after its last daily use
- Pick out shower curtain that do not easily mold or are materials that do not retain water
Keep these tips in mind for making sure your bathroom is mold free. SERVPRO of Madison, Rockcastle, Garrard and Lincoln Counties offers mold testing. Call us today for more information.
