Microwave Cleaning
Microwaves are a handy invention that keeps your home running. When time is short, the microwave really steps up to help on those busy days. Microwaves are a great modern invention, but they can pose a risk. Microwaves can often leave a smoke smell that drifts throughout your home. Here are a few ways to keep your microwave clean and safe for your family to use:
Clean the Inside
You want to make sure the inside is clean. You want to put a bowl of water and vinegar in a microwave-safe bowl to remove the outermost layer of grime. After you do this, take a wet cloth to clean off any leftover food. If you have a glass turntable, make sure to wash that too.
Clean the Door
The inside and outside of the door catch a lot of dirt and grime. This stuck-on food can give off horrible odors and not be appetizing for future meals. Use an acidic solution and do not get it on the gaskets.
Clean the Outside
Wipe down the outside and around the vent grill. This can have trapped oil, odors, and dust. You want to again, use an acidic solution to clean this portion too.
Keep your microwave clean to keep off smelly, leftover food. This is the best way to keep odors at bay!
